My athan alarm didn't ring
Choose Athan alarm (not Notification) for that prayer with the bell next to it. Athan alarms ring even on silent, at your ringer volume, so keep that turned up (Settings, Sounds & Haptics). Make sure alarms are allowed for Mihrabi in Settings, and open the app now and then so reminders stay topped up.
Can I wake up before Fajr?
Yes. In Settings, Fajr alarm, choose Before Fajr (5 to 60 minutes) or a fixed time every day. The athan still plays at the Fajr time.
How do I get the best rakat counting?
Prop the phone up 1 to 1.5 m away using the back 0.5x camera, level rather than tilted up, so your whole body and the floor in front of you stay in view. Stand side-on and keep furniture out of the way. The counter is an aid and can make mistakes.
Which prayer times does Mihrabi use?
In Sri Lanka, the official ACJU timetables for all 13 zones. Your zone is picked from your location, or you can choose it in Settings. Elsewhere, the method your country's authorities commonly use.
How do I add the Lock Screen widget?
Long-press your Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose Lock Screen, tap the widget area under the clock and pick Mihrabi.
Does Mihrabi collect my data?
No. There's no account and no server, and nothing leaves your phone. See our privacy policy.
